Where are you located?
Our bakery is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Our bundt cakes can be shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. We deliver layer, birthday and specialty cakes in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. The layer and specialty cakes can not be shipped.
Do you offer custom cakes?
Yes. We can design a cake for any occasion. All custom cakes are only available in the South Florida area due to the fragile nature of these cakes.
What are my icing choices?
Our signature icing for soft-frosted layer cakes is a butter cream cheese, however depending on the type of cake other options may be available. We also offer fondant.
What is a fondant?
Fondant is like sugar play dough. We knead it, roll it out in sheets and lay it over the cake. Fondant offers a range of design options for wedding and specialty cakes. Most of the cakes you see featured in wedding magazines are covered in Fondant. It gives a smooth flawless matte finish, and can be draped, painted on and tinted among other things.
What is the difference between the soft-frosted and fondant cakes?
Buttercream is a more traditional icing. The texture is soft and it can be tinted to different shades. Fondant is a sugar-based dough that can be easily molded and colored to give different designs.
Our cakes range in price from $20 to $2,000 depending on the type of cake, size of cake and the complexity of the design.

You can place an order online (for bundt cakes only) via phone (888) 901-CAKE or via email to sales@wetakethecake.com. You can also visit us at our bakery. We are located at 1021 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304. Layer and specialty cakes are not available online.

What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. If you are picking up the cake in person we will accept checks and credit cards. If you are a corporate client, please contact us at (888) 901-CAKE or via email to sales@wetakethecake.com to discuss payment options.

Can you deliver to a PO Box?
Sorry, Federal Express cannot deliver to a PO Box.
