I got this cake for my boyfriends parents as a thank you gift instead of flowers. His parents are very sophisticated and very hard to please ( in a good way! ). The cake took the family by storm and everybody loved it, from the beautiful box to the cake itself. I never expected so much hoo-ha and gushing over a lemon poppy seed bundt cake, but there you go. My boyfriend already ordered another one ( the sour cream coffee cake).
